Orca Crossover ( 5.85m ) ( 19 feet 2 inches)

The Orca crossover is built on the same hull as the Tug 40. Its a derivative of one of the very famous Boston whaler hulls. The cap design is however very different from that of the Tug 40. The sides are alot higher. This boat was designed as a full crossover craft. This boat can be fitted with 2 motors or a single motor, it has offshore capabilities and can be used for offshore fishing . I do not advocate beach launching this boat in adverse sea conditions . it will be a good boat for pulling a ski , tube or a kite. Snorkeling or spearfishing from as it incorporates a swim bracket with a water ladder making boarding from the water easy for everyone. This hull rides smoothly cutting chop with ease dispersing the water downwards and away from the hull giving a dry stable ride.

Features of the boat include a wet deck, a large practical easy to access anchor hatch, gunnels high enough to brace yourself while fighting a fish , 2 ice boxes, a live bait well with a window. Rod holders glassed into the gunnels. Recessed fuel storage area under the consol creating a lower centre of gravity and also allowing the fuel tanks to be filled without removing the canisters.

The boat is a semi modular built boat and therefore we can accomodate many and various deck layout options and rigging options.

We are almost complete with the first build, i will be posting pics , technical data and a video of this boat in the next few weeks.
